Sorrow and love flow mingled down. So, tears and joy flow simultaneously as we dwell in and on the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and the hope we have in Him alone. Oh, the One who knew grief and carries us in our losses....and the beauty of the writing in itself. Dear sister in Christ, we seem to be kindreds in it all, and I thank God for you and these words that also express my heart.

Thanks Lauri, I appreciate your encouraging words. I’m praying Christ’s presence will infiltrate and surround you this coming week!

Sweet Jen ... a powerful reminder that we must fight hard against this creeping darkness. I can't help but know (on this winter solstice day), that with our hearts fixed firmly on Christ, we will see the Light ... your words are witness to this very fact. What do I do to cope with the dichotomy? On many mornings I sit in silence with the Lord, watch the world wake up and practice my trust through prayer. Love you, dear friend. THANK YOU for spilling such beautiful words into the world.

Oh thank you Heidi! Your kind words always bring a smile. I can imagine you in the morning, overlooking your yard, perhaps watching the birds at feeders? 😉 Praying you see Jesus even more than usual this week! 🙏🏻🫂♥️
