Fall is Knocking on the Door!
Hello dear reader friends!
We’ve had some cooler, fall-like weather here this week, but never fear, Indian Summer is guaranteed to make its appearance.
Are you as busy as me these days? Some of you may have propelled your kids into another school year already (or soon will!)
There’s a lot going on here in preparation for the fall season—some medical testing, upcoming surgery, writing ministries and retreat, Bible studies, editing my book project, a little nannying on the side :).
To de-stress, I take worship breaks outside in creation, and like usual, thoughts start to gel…
Here is a small and imperfect offering as we move through our final week of August and into Labor Day Weekend.

Reflection—
As the summer light starts to wane and we tumble into fall, do you feel nostalgia creeping in?
And does facing later seasons in life spark worry or wonder?
**How do we learn to meet them all with strength and joy?
Personally, I don’t think I can view them with wonder and joy—I’m not capable of rising that far above all the trials on my own!
But as a child of God, knowing the joy of his salvation, I can borrow His perspective and view these later years through His eyes.
Knowing that my future is secure in him is where real joy and wonder lie.
“…for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
