Woman, I See You...
And You're Not Alone
Author Note:
This week, I’m working hard on my story to share with some new friends soon. It got me thinking about all of these amazing women in different life journeys that I get to see, meet, and know…
So, if you are a woman, may these thoughts encourage you today. . .
Woman, I See You
Woman, I see you…caring for your kids, juggling babies and toddlers in the grocery aisle, patiently answering all they ask of you as you try to remember your list. Your patience will help them grow.
Woman, I see you…trying to make your way in the big, new world. There’s so much to do and accomplish! But any time with Jesus will be well-spent. Remember His promises and look to him for guidance.
Woman, I see you…pregnant and scared. Making those hard decisions to choose life no matter what. You can trust that God will honor you in that.
Woman, I see you…regretting that hard choice. Don’t beat yourself up! Instead, learn from it and let it draw you closer to Christ. His forgiveness turns life around.
Woman, I see you…in your high-level job, dodging bullets and frustrations, taking the high road, trying to juggle it all. Your dedicated work won’t go unnoticed.
Woman, I see you…single mom, struggling to make ends meet, working hard while raising your children. Allow yourself to rely on your heavenly Father for help. You’re exhausted, but it will be worth it in the end.
Woman, I see you…caring for a sibling or child that needs extra help in many ways--a life-long act of obedience. Your patience, care, and selfless love is admirable. I know it’s hard, but God will strengthen you, and there will be rewards along the way.
Woman, I see you…hurting for a prodigal child, or the one that hurts inside. Your prayers surely ascend to the throne, and you’re not alone in your great love for them. Trust the One you can entrust them to…
Woman, I see you…raising and cuddling those children or grandchildren, sharing your faith through your God-stories. What blessings circle back from sharing His love!
Woman, I see you…as your husband fights his biggest battles and all you can do is stand alongside and pray. You stand in the fiery furnace, Jesus present with you. Your faithful love motivates the rest of us, and your prayer warriors stand beside you.
Woman, I see you…fighting that battle of temptation, holding on by a prayer and by the grit of tooth and nail. Letting go will let you grow, and overcoming will be empowering! Don’t let go of His hand!
Woman, I see you… chronic health issues dragging you down, wearing a brave face in your pain. You use your struggles to reach out and encourage others, so inspiring. Pain and suffering are hard, but Jesus never leaves or forsakes us.
Woman, I see you…suffering grief upon grief. Holding on desperately to faith amidst all the sorrow, still showing up to love others. You teach us how to step up and be better friends. Jesus will be your comforter as you navigate through the pain.
Woman, I see you…living all alone, having lost a spouse or child(ren), yet still grounded by your love for Jesus and others. You exude strength and demonstrate how to abide. I know God is pleased.
Woman, I see you…feeling older, unsure of your purpose. Don’t sell yourself short! Your wisdom has grown with the years. Your identity rests solely in Christ. Remember, we are human BEings, not human DOings, and it’s OK to rest in his love.
Woman, I see you…in that awful battle with an unexpected future. Jesus knows, and He won’t let go! Cling to his promises with all that you have—He’s promised never to leave or forsake us.
Woman, I see you…in your last days on earth, suffering and waiting patiently for Jesus to deliver you home. You have fought the good fight and inspired others. Rest in His almighty arms of love.
Woman, I see you…with your broken spirit and heart, broken relationships breaking your soul. Hang in there so Jesus can minister to you. He’s the only One who can truly fill and satisfy.
Woman, I see you.. afraid to expose your shame to Christ. Let down the walls and let his love and light shine in. Faith and forgiveness are always life-giving! You will find peace and joy when you give it all over to Him.
Woman, I see you, morning calm after tear-wracked prayers in the night. Never give up or stop praying! Jesus comes to comfort and knows your distress. The Spirit groans with you in prayer.
And Friend? Please know this:
If I can see you, JESUS sees you even more.
“For this light and momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,” (2 Cor. 4:17, ESV).

Thanks for spreading the encouragement, Jen! We need more of it in this world!
This is wonderful Jen! I’m in several of those categories, along with caring for two aging mothers. Thanks for sharing your insights and reminder that Jesus sees.
